There is a new skinhead book now published by Phillip Lesbirel called 'Life's Journey'. It is a series and 3 books have now been published with a promised 4th shortly.
The storyline is of a young 16 year old youth who discovers the skinhead way of life, its gay love and fetishes. Johnnie is a tough, street wise kid and ends up being jailed for assault. On release from prison, he decides he needs to leave England and head to a country where he can start again, but his prison record will not allow him to move legally so he buys a new identity and signs on to a freighter bound for Australia.
In Cape Town he meets with Joe, an orphaned dockside worker and Joe stows away on board ship when it leaves port. Johnnie falls for Joe and they decide to jump ship in Melbourne, but their plans are thwarted by the ship's Captain and as they are heading into Port Philip Bay, a police tender comes aside the ship. Johnnie and Joe jump overboard. Book 3 ends with our wandering if they survived, but with the announcement of book 4, we have to believe they did.
Books 1, 2 and 3 have a great story. Set in the late 60's at the start of the skinhead culture, it does discuss some of the more bazaar fetishes known to the gay world at that time. It also deals with the rivalry of the skinhead gangs or crews of the time. I loved all 3 books, can't wait for book 4.

Welcome to my blog. I am a gay skinhead and a SHARP. I am also an author of skinhead books and my favorite author is Richard Allen, and no I don't style my writings after his books. My characters are as real as I can make them in my mind and all my books try to show my feelings against racial, sexual and religious hate. Skinhead tattoos
Most skinheads have tattoos, whether they be gay or straight. The problem is deciding what tattoo to have. There are few tattoos that directly relate to skinheads, and these can be dramatic as in full backs or just smaller tattoos for the arms or other areas of the body. Personally I have 2 tattoos, a 'Spirit of 69' tattoo on the left arm and a 'British Bulldog' with the Union Jack on my right arm. I also have a slave tattoo on my neck, but that does not relate to skinheads. I have searched the internet for skinhead tattoos for some time and cannot find anything decent to allow me to comlete a full sleeve. I don't want just any tattoos, I want skinhead tattoos and not Nazi ones either. I am a SHARP so any reference to Nazi or WP is definately out.

Gear for gay skinheads
There are so many fetish sites with gear for gay skinheads, from rubber to leather, to bleachers with rear zips and polo's to let your fellow skinheads know you are gay and proud. T-Shirts appear to be making a splash on the fetish scene as well as Tank Tops or Singlets. I still prefer the Polo shirt as my dress. maybe I am old fashioned, but I am a traditional skin so Polo's are all I wear. As for rubber and leather? I am not against it, in fact I get a hard on when I see these young skins in tight leather pants or skintight rubber jeans, their rubber Polo and braces wearing their Doc Martin 14 or 20 hole boots. Even the waders turn me on, but are they true skins or are they feetish gay men grabbing the skin culture to their own ends?
We have so many fetish styles now, including work gear and the military look. To have this look at a fetish party is great but it is not a look for everyday use, down the pub or down the football match. They are purely club use. We are skins and we are a brotherhood of working class men with a culture we are all living for life. Our fetishes are just that, a fetish. Hair
Skinheads traditionally have a shaved head but there appears to be a trend towards buzz cuts, shaved sides and mohawks. These socalled skinheads are bluring the line. Anything more than a Number 1 cut is not a skinhead look. Many Punks are claiming to be skinheads but their hair and clothing are nowhere near what a skinhead should be.
A skinhead traditionally shaves his head and wears his clobber with pride. He is part of a youth army world wide and to part from tradition is putting the brotherhood at risk. If you want to follow fashion then so be it, but don't call yourself a skinhead. Skinheads don't follow fashion. They follow a tradition. What is a skinhead tradition? A shaved head, a working class background and a uniform recognised world wide. Yes, it is a uniform, no different to the military. We are an army of arrogant, angry men, fed up with unemployment, low paid jobs and a media that cannot come to terms with our culture.
So if you call yourself a skinhead, then look at your hair or lack of it. If it is not a shaved head or Number 1 cut, then you are not a skin. What you are is your business but don't call yourself a skinhead.

New skinhead book
I recently found a new skinhead book, in fact I found several gay skinhead books, and all by the same author. I have now read all his skinhead books and really enjoy his style of writing. He tends to write about the fetish side of skinhead life and also is SHARP. I particularly liked his new book 'Fighting Dog' but his other book 'Daniel' had me wanting more also. He understands the skinhead lifestyle and culture and is very discriptive in his writings. Strikes
The drivers of the bus company I work for are talking about going out on strike over a pay dispute. I hate strikes and believe there are better ways. A strike only hurts the passengers and not the company. Personally I believe we should still turn up for work, only refuse to take money for trips. This way passengers still get a service and the company loses money.
It is always the public who lose out on strikes. Bus passengers are usually the lower end of the social ladder, pensioners, low paid workers. school kids and the unemployed. As a skinhead I am usually at the lower end myself and know what a bus or train strike can do to the unemployed, pensioners etc. Like many skinheads, our working class roots are there for all to see and public transport is usually our only way to get around, so why hurt our fellow workers and brothers.
I say no to striking and yes to free travel until the company cough up or lock us out, then its a whole new ball game.

Skinheads
I get many questions from people who just cannot understand what a skinhead really is. They have no concept of their culture or what they stand for so in a few short words I am going to try and answer these questions.
First and foremost a skinhead is a working class youth/man, no if's or buts, his roots are working class and he identifies with the working class. Seldom does his work go beyond the lower echelons of working society, laborors, warehouse workers, building trades etc. Some lift themselves out of these mundane jobs but they are few and far between. Many are unemployed and live from hand to mouth on social security.
Skinheads came into existance in the late 60's as the mods and rockers wained and the young working class lad started to find the West Indian culture of song and dance, using their work clothes and adapting it into a recognisable uniform. Boots were high and steel capped, pants were usually Levi jeans, 501 and faded but eventually being bleached to rid them of their new look, braces were a sign of the common working man and the polo shirt which was a later addition, but replaced the work shirt used originally. The jacket started as a donkey jacket or army cast off but eventually the MA1 in olive green took over. The uniform eveolved from a working man style to a smart recognisable style of their own.
The media caught upon the look and their perchance to soccer violence and blew it up out of all proportion but in doing so, others decided to get into the act. Many youth or hooligans hit on the shaved head look and so the soccer hooligan reputation began. The national Front or the military front for the Nazi Parti took the look also and as they had a racial predudice look on life became known as Boneheads, as skinheads were none racially predudiced. Their culture had come from the West Indian culture so why would they be racially predudiced. In all skinhead groups throughout the world all races are accepted into the brotherhood regardless, but the NF or WP (White Power) Boneheads have a racially based membership. They are not skinheads and any media outlet who allow themselves to use this name in relation to them are misinformed.
Why do we become a skinhead? We are working class and we are proud of our roots. Skinheads stand for the working class youth since the late 60's and are seen as more than just a gang of lads. It is the culture, the brotherhood, the music and the friendship that every skinhead worldwide knows is waiting for him in every country and in every city. It is not something you retire from when you marry or find a relationship. It is a love of culture for life, and you hang up your boots on top of your coffin.

Shaving
Skinheads are easily recognised by their shaved or short cut hair. Personally I prefer shaved, but there is a side effect of shaving your head. Apart from a cold head in winter, it is a task you must keep up on a daily basis. The smooth look is hard to maintain and requires time each morning to rid the head of stubble and give the smooth, cue ball look we skinheads admire so much.
30 years ago I had a major car accident that left me with many scars on my head and to leave shaving for several years until these healed sufficiently to allow a smooth finish once again. I maintained as close a cut as a pair of clippers could handle but eventually dared to use the razor once again. The first few days was agony as my head became a mass of blood and the razor nicked and cut into the many scars. But I perservered and am so glad I did. I felt lost without the smooth feel of my scalp like I didn't belong any more.
Now I am proud of the smooth finish, I even oil my head to make it shine. I feel a part of the culture once again for without the smooth finish I did not feel like a true skinhead. Long live the cue ball.

What is a SHARPIE
What is a SHARPIE? a skinhead is against racial predudice. Why? Because the skinhead culture originated out of the West Indian culture and skinheads are part of that culture. Without the West Indian culture skinheads would not exist. Therefore, to say Neo Nazi Boneheads or WP are skinheads is to say all skinheads are racist. The media call them skinheads, well it's about time the media got their facts straight. By calling Boneheads skinheads is to defame true skinheads. Just because the Boneheads wear our clothes and shave their heads does not mean they are skinheads, because they aren't. They are racist nationalistic youth with a huge chip on their shoulder.
True skinheads are from all races, color and creeds. Skinheads are the most cosmepolitan group of youth in this world because they accept anyone who enjoys the culture of the skinheads. We are SHARP (skinheads against racial predudice) and accept all to our ranks and squads. Join us, enjoy our culture and be part of a world wide youth movement for the working class. Can a skinhead be a property owner?
Well yesterday I decided to put an offer on a 2 bed unit in a beachside subburb. The need to get away from the crippling rent spiral has led me to think buying finally. I am a working man and would usually always be a renter like my parents but times are changing and skinhead or not, rent is dead money, lining some rich guys pocket and not your own.
So for the same price as rent I can buy a small flat of my own. It is hard to find a deposit when you are a worker with half your wage going on rent and the other half on skinhead gear, but I have made the sacrafice and put up with my old skin gear for a while and now have a small deposit, enough to get this flat.
I don't earn much, in UK terms about 300 pounds a week but in ten years I will own my flat and maybe get some new gear again. I know my Doc's will last that long, and my bleachers can survive with care but might have to buy some new braces, sox and polos during that time, but that's ok. So, this skinhead is now a property owner. Now to find a skinhead BF to match the decor. Any takers? SHARP forever

skinhead gear
Over the years my jobs have not allowed me to wear my skinhead gear to work. Apart from when I was in the military where I wore the Disruptive Pateren Uniform, this was the only time I felt like I was dressed as a skinhead. Other jobs I had to wear a uniform but I always wore my boots, much to the discust of many of my employers.
Now I have a job as a bus driver, and can finally wear most of my gear. My trusty Doc's of course, a company polo which is ok in royal blue with a yellow colar and sleeve edges but I have to wear the company work pants which are proper work pants. I use my black braces instead of a belt and often get comments, but I don't care. As a skinhead and a working man, the work pants are a good substitute for my bleachers. So now I feel like a skinhead when I am at work.
Being a skinhead and feeling like a skinhead 24/7 is so important as a person identifies whith his peers. I live in a country where skinheads are few and mostly in our southern capitals and the tropics of Australia do not lend itself to this type of clothing. I persevere because I am a skinhead and would live no other life. I no longer have a skinhead mate as he has returned to the UK but I continue to look and hope for another to join me here and become my mate in a LTR.

Equals
Well as I said in an earlier post, I am now working as a bus driver. I can wear my skinhead clobber but a little concealment is required. I have to wear work pants as part of my uniform but I have my braces on them, and a Polo is part of the uniform. My boots are always there so I am half skinhead when working.
I would say 70% of my passengers are Indiginous and I wonder where the equality is in our lives. Most are healthy strong and well built but they have a pension card. A pension for what? Because they are Indiginous or because they cannot work because of illness? It's like the govenment gave up trying and now just gives them money to live. Yet I know of many Australians who are in desparate needs due to health or out of work and the government gives them nothing or bare subsistance with so many conditions they are overwhelmed.
I have made many friends in the Indiginous passengers I now carry but I cannot wonder why so many are considered pensioners when they are stronger and healthier than you or I. I am a strong believer in the assistance by governments to those who need it, but this situation is beyond a joke. If most of these Indiginous people can be classified as penshioners them the rest of Australia qualify also. It is a joke.

Censorship
How often have you joined a group, any group, and received a notification of an article in the group, then find the owner or moderator of the group has removed it? It hapens regularly in groups I am a member and it shits me off. I thought censorship was a government thing and something to be fought against with all force at our disposal, yet we find group owners who constantly remove articles because they contravine their own petty rules and regulations.
I have never removed an article from my groups unless they are defamatory to another member, race color or creed. Articles which are aimed even at the owner are welcome as far as I am concerned as they tell the owner and the members what is right or wrong with the group. I have often received hate mail and even death threats with this site, but I do not go all week at the knees. Bring it on, if you think you can carry them out. I believe in the free press and freedom of all to express an oppinion.

skinheads are for life
You don't just decide to be a skinhead and go out and buy gear. You are born a skinhead and the lifestyle becomes you not the other way around. When a nipper I always admired the skinheads in my area, their disregard for convention and authority, but then I was just like them. I didn't decide to be a skinhead, I identified with them and it was natural for me to be one of them when I was old enough to think for myself. When was that? Well I don't really know but I think I always was one of them from when I started high school, but I suspect earlier.
I was no Einstein and looked forward to a life on the dole queue or a mindless occupation on a minimum wage but one day walked past a recruiting house and I stopped and looked. Then I ventured inside and talked to several guys inside. Before I knew it I had signed on for 6 years. The military taught me a trade and how to kill; that I already knew from an early age; but they taught me to do it legally. The comradery of a squad became my family much like a skinhead squad. I had a uniform like my skinhead clobber, and I felt I had finally found a purpose in life.
I was still a skinhead, shaved head, a uniform and a squad, but I had a trade I could use when I got out but I stayed for 25 years. Did I enjoy it? I supose I did in a way. It was my life, it was my family and I was always myself, a skinhead. The fact that I was gay never was questioned even though had they found out, I would have been discharged. Now I write about skinheads, about their power and agro, their social position as working class and unemployed or employed in menial jobs, their illiteracy and lack of government understanding. Their love of soccer and a rumble. Their needs are few; a skinhead family, and drink down the pub with their mates, a soccer game or two and a rumble afterwards. What do they ask for? A job that pays their worth and a government that understands them. Look at the number of skinheads in the UK alone and tell me they are not a force to be recond with. They are the forgotten minority.

Working once again
Like many skinheads world wide, I am a working class lad and am unemployed regularly for one reason or another. The bosses don't like skinheads working for them, and skinheads have an attitude they find unnerving and agressive. We are who we are and if we were anything different we wouldn't be skinheads. I lost my last job becaause my boss was only wanting the subsidised wages for 3 months, so he had cheap labour. Once that stopped, so did my job.
I finally started a new job last week as a bus driver and apart from cranky passengers, the job ain't bad. It pays shit, but then as a skinhead I expect that and don't expect to be in the top ten earners list. I have to wear a uniform, but at least I can still wear my boots and my work shirt is a polo. I have yet to try wearing my braces but might leave that until after the trial period.
I published a new skinhead book last week called 'Daniel' on Amazon. It is about a young skinhead, questioning his sexuality and goes on to look at his life, his loves and his love of the gay fetishes. It is violent in parts and tender in others. He does find love with another skinhead guy, but loses him in a rumble when set apon by a gang. Hope you all enjoy it.

New skinhead book
I have a new skinhead book being released by Amazon within the next 2 weeks. It is called Daniel. It was written in 3 parts as a trilogy but have decided to release it as a full book with 3 sections, similar to Richard Allen's skinhead books.
It is a story of a 17 year old skinhead youth, unemployed and questioning his sexuality. Skinheads are suposed to be rough, tough and masculine, but he is turned on by young workmen. He meets up with a plumbers apprentice, Pete, and finds out his true sexuality. The story deals with his discovery of gay sex, the gay fetishes of slavery and deals with his loss of his lover Larry. He vows revenge on the gang who kill Larry and with the help of his skinhead mates, track the gang down and reap a bloody and sadistic revenge on them all. But the story turns itself around and Daniel is duped into slavery himself and becomes a dog slave. His eventual freedom finds another love and again a bloody revenge.
The story is about the skinhead culture, about gay skinheads and their fetishes. But is also shows the bond skinheads have for each other and their willingness to support each other regardless. Skinheads are a brotherhood regardless of their political or sexual persuations. They are world wide and you cannot run from skinheads for they will find you wherever you run.

Jobless again
Well I knew it couldn't last, the job was shit but at least I had a wage, small but survivable. What else can a laborer expect these days. Minimum wage for maximum effort. As a skinhead you cannot expect much more unless you have the education to get a good job. Skinheads are working class men with a working class background of minimal education at best. Many are unemployed which is mostly why the culture started in the first place.
The Skinhead culture and movement grew out of the unemployed working class youth of the late 60's, and although the culture waned somewhat in the early 70's grew back stronger than ever in the late 70's and early 80's. Unemployment has always been the bug bare of skinheads. Many employers don't understand their culture and in most cases scared of their overpowering looks when in traditional gear.
Yes skinheads are angry, arrogant and intense. They wouldn't be skinheads if they weren't. Being working class does not allow them the advantage of good jobs or nice clothes. They enjoy their status as working class; it's what they are. Their traditional gear of steel capped boots, bleachers or denim jeans, polo shirt or button down collar shirt, braces and MA1 are their uniform. It tells the world they are skinheads.
We are here to stay unlike other cultures that have melted into the fashion scene. It's about time society got used to us and accepted our lifestyle and culture. We can work and we work bloody hard for the pittance most employers give us. Respect us and we will respect you and your company, but please just give us a chance to work, to have dignity and to be who we are. Skinheads.

A bootboi in Burma
Love of skinhead boots is not contained to the English, American or German skinheads. I recently discovered a bootboi in Burma and now correspond with him. He cannot always get to a computer or to an email service, but he is so dedicated to boot worship regardless of his situation. His government restrict internet access with an iron fist, yet he still manages to search the internet for his big love of skinhead boots. Would we do the same given the same circumstances? I doubt it as our lives are not restricted or censored. We do not get up in the morning with the uncirtainty of maybe being arrested for the slightest thing, or for loving a culture deamed militaristic and therefore banned. Yes, skinheads are classed as a military culture and a subversive sub group.

It has no human rights and its jails are full of those who try to make a difference to the lives of others. Why is it when something becomes popular, they get all moralistic? FaceBook has recently started culling members accounts for reasons unbeknown to all except themselves. I have had several friends who have lost their accounts and have not been told the reasons why.
One of my friends is a bigoted, white power skinhead. I am a Sharpe. I met him on FaceBook when he wrote abusive and threatening comments on my FaceBook page because of one of my blogs of skinheads and Sharpe. I did not report him but mearly continued to talk with him through FaceBook. I don't think I have changed his attitude, but he can now talk and explain his feelings more freely. I don't think he will ever change his views, but I have got to know him and enjoy our brief if not entertaining banter. Many people look at abuse as an attack on themselves. I prefer to see it as a chalenge to try reason where I can. Oh don't misunderstand me, in a rumble that goes out the window, but on social networks such as FaceBook, it is after all just words and I enjoy a good writen arguement.
So next time a fellow skin mouths off about Nazism or WP, don't report them or have nothing more to do with them, talk with them and learn why they feel the way they do. It is very enlightning.

It has been a while since I placed a new blog on this site, mainly because of work but also due to less available computer time and computers being hit by virus and hijackers. To those who use viruses or hacking techniques for their entertainment, they fail to realise the damage they cause and the costs involved. It's not only the big companies they hit, it's people like you and me, hard working people who can ill afford the costs of cleaning out their computers of virus's, protecting themselves from hacking and programs that enter your system to report or thieve your information.
I am a working man, with a weekly wage of $545 therefore a yearly wage of just of around $27k, and spending over $2k a year trying to protect myself or rebuild my computers is becoming harder every day. What do I suggest? When a hacker is caught, jail is the only way to curb them. A hefty jail term, regardless of age or previous offences, plus some way to recompense those who have been hurt through their actions. If a youth is found to be creating virus's, it is not an intelligent mind gone wrong, it is a malicious intent to injure and should be dealt with as such. We deal with young offenders who are caught up in violent crime so why not white collar crime? White collar crime is just as damaging to a person as violence to their body. Therefore I propose all white collar crime be treated as criminal and those caught for producing viruses or hijacking programs and use them, be charged with assault with criminal intent.
I am aware that young IT students have to learn to write virus and hacking programs to learn how to combat them in their working lives as IT professionals, but if they step over the mark, then jail is the only alternative. The world looses billions of dollars every year due to virus attacks, information hackers and phishing programs. It's time to get tough and forget about where the keys are stored. Minimum sentences of 20 years should be mandatory with no parole. Hard? Yes, but will they do it again if we give them a slap on the wrist? Of course they will, so let's make sure they don't have the opportunity.
